PREP SCHOOL OPEN AFTERNOON

Friday 13 March 2026, 1.30pm

We welcome all families that are looking for places from our co-ed preschool through to Year 6. We are a girls-only school from reception upwards based in Winchester, Hampshire. At this event you will have the opportunity to meet our Prep School Head, Liz Norris, followed by an individual tour of the school led by a current pupil. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a chance to meet a number of our specialist teachers.

Stay and play sessions 

All are welcome at our Stay and Play. Each interactive session will make the most of the facilities and grounds at St Swithun's Prep as specialist teachers run Stay and Play sessions in each of their specialist areas. From forest school to art, music to performing arts, all are welcome to come and enjoy this relaxed and informal session. This is designed to be a toddler session but all ages are very welcome.

St Swithun’s Early Years offers a co-ed Preschool and is girls-only from Reception.

General open afternoons

For entry across all year groups. These include a welcome from Prep School Head, Liz Norris, followed by an individual tour of the school led by a current pupil. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a chance to meet a number of our specialist teachers.

All of our open days occur in term time. Due to the popularity of these sessions, we will be in touch again with you about two weeks prior to the open afternoon for you to confirm that you would still like your place.
