Early Years Afternoon - Preschool & Reception
Friday 10 October 2025
We welcome all families that are looking for places for their children in Preschool and Reception. The event will have a fantastic interactive theme and there will be the chance to familiarise yourself with the setting, meet and chat to staff and enjoy refreshments with other prospective families.
St Swithun's Early Years offers a co-ed Preschool and is girls-only from Reception into prep.

General open afternoons
For entry across all year groups. These include a welcome from Prep School Head, Liz Norris, followed by an individual tour of the school led by a current pupil. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a chance to meet a number of our specialist teachers.
Early Years (Preschool and Reception) activity afternoon
Aimed at families looking to join our Early Years. These include a welcome from Prep School Head, Liz Norris, and Shelly Say, our Head of Early Years, followed by a range of activities for our visiting children and a chance to see our Early Years provision and meet our staff.
All of our open days occur on a Friday afternoon in term time.
Due to the popularity of these sessions, we will be in touch again with you about two weeks prior to the open afternoon for you to confirm that you would still like your place.
