Welcome to the St Swithun’s School Letting Co, established in 1985 with over 40 years of continuous operation. We offer a variety of events and functions as well as a range of residential, sporting, performing arts and educational facilities for hire to leading local, national and international organisations. |

Join our membership programme and take part in a wide range of activities, courses & residential camps for both adults and children throughout the year.
St Swithun’s School Letting Co has a range of residential, sporting, performing arts and educational facilities available to hire including theatres, auditoriums, conference rooms and small spaces ideal for all types of performances, business events, seminars for private and commercial hire.
Residential facilities
Available during school holidays, St Swithun’s School Letting Co offers a flexible range of residential boarding houses and catering solutions:
- Six boarding houses with 275 beds across 238 bedrooms and eight dorms.
- Onsite catering offers bespoke menus that can be tailored for any event
- 45 acres of beautiful grounds on the edge of the South Downs National Park, with onsite parking and within close walking distance of the City centre.
- Extensive recreational facilities
We are proud to be working with a variety of residential partners including UKLC Language Schools, Bristol Penguin Olympic Swimming Club, Family Church, In Synch Synchronised Swimming Club, and many others.
Sporting facilities
St Swithun’s School Letting Co has a wide range of sporting facilities available to hire all year round including:
Athletics
- Six lane grass athletics track, all-weather long jump, high jump and throwing facilities (available between April and September)
Cricket
- Two cricket pitches (with Astroturf strips), outdoor and indoor nets
Fitness
- 31ft x 53ft gymnasium and strength & conditioning suite
Football
- Two football pitches, with floodlights
Lacrosse
- Seven lacrosse pitches (which can be used for a variety of other sports)
Netball
- Eight netball courts outdoor, one indoor court
Swimming
- Swimming pools suitable for a range of uses with inflatables for pool parties
Tennis
- 12 tennis courts outdoor, eight of which are floodlit
Other
- 55ft x 118ft multi-purpose indoor sports hall
- Additional multi-purpose field space
- Changing and washroom facilities
- Pavilion
We are proud to be working with our sporting partners including England Lacrosse, England Netball, Hampshire County Cricket Club, South West Lacrosse, Sport Winchester, Judy Sporle School of Swimming, Swim England, Tri Life UK, Bristol Penguin Olympic Swimming Club, Weston Park Blades Netball Club, AIM Netball Academy, and many others.
Performing arts and educational facilities
St Swithun’s School Letting Co offers a range of facilities for hire including theatres, auditoriums, conference rooms and small break out spaces ideal for all business events, seminars and commercial hire
- The Harvey Hall, 600 seat theatre and flexible performing arts centre for hire
- Music School with practice rooms, recital rooms and instruments for hire
- Various auditoriums, conference rooms and small spaces.
- Various educational classrooms and facilities.
We are proud to be working with our diverse range of partners including Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, Hampshire County Council, Hampshire Ornithological Society, Hurn Court Opera, National Youth Jazz Collective, Trinity College, Winchester Symphony Orchestra, and many others.
