Both the prep school and the senior school hold open days throughout the school year. It is a chance to to see what life is like as a St Swithun’s student. 

Please feel free to bring your daughter and other members of your family who are interested in the future she might enjoy at St Swithun’s.

Prep school open days include a welcome from prep school head Liz Norris followed by an individual tour of the school led by a current pupil. Afternoon tea will be served and there will be opportunities for you to meet a number of our specialist teachers.

Senior school open days include a presentation from headmistress Jane Gandee, deputy head academic Charlie Hammel and deputy head pastoral Graham Yates. During the morning you will go on a self-guided tour and have the opportunity to participate in subject activities and meet current pupils, teaching and pastoral staff, the headmistress, the admissions team and the school chaplain. Senior school tours include the boarding houses if appropriate and the day will last approximately two hours.

A waiting list is always in operation for these events so we will be in touch again with you two to three weeks before the open day for you to confirm that you would still like your place.
