St Swithun’s School celebrates national success in Sunday Times Parent Power 2026 rankings |
St Swithun’s School in Winchester is celebrating another year of academic success after being ranked the 2nd best girls’ boarding school in the UK for A Level results in the Sunday Times Parent Power 2026 league tables.
The achievement follows the school’s strongest set of A Level results in a non-pandemic year, with 34% of all grades awarded at A* and 72% at A/A*.
The Parent Power guide, widely regarded as one of the most comprehensive and authoritative assessments of school performance in the UK, also reported that St Swithun’s has attained significant local success, ranking 2nd in Hampshire for combined A Level and GCSE results. These results reflect the school’s continued commitment to academic excellence and to providing an ambitious and supportive learning environment for all pupils.
