At St Swithun’s we are keen to provide our students with a wide variety of opportunities outside the classroom, not only to enhance learning but also to have fun, as the students develop new friendships and skills. Please find attached our trips portfolio covering all the residential trips currently planned from now until the end of the next academic year August 2024.
You will note that some of the trips are specifically linked to GCSE and A level courses, such as biology and geography fieldwork. Others such as language exchanges and visits enable the students to embrace different cultures and practise their language skills. In addition, through the sporting activities and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions the students can gain essential skills and qualities such as resilience, problem-solving and working as a team.
As we continue to broaden our provision of residential trips both at home and abroad, we hope that your daughter will look forward to participating in some of these exciting adventures.
