How to get it right: making a brilliant start to school

What can you expect when your child starts preschool or reception? Come and find out by experiencing a school day for yourself.
As well as learning about the Early Years Foundation stage of education, you will experience hands-on what maths, reading, science, music, art, sport and ICT are like in a primary school with sessions including using picture books to inspire poetry writing, investigative science for the early years, maths mastery, mystery boxes and making non-Newtonian liquids. You will also try out our on-site Forest School and our teaching kitchen and find out about High Performance Learning. There will be plenty of fun and an insight into education beyond the primary years.
Refreshments and a lunch will be provided.
Approximate finish time 4.00pm.
