Oakwood activity centre in Berkshire was home for 24 Year 4 girls and three teachers for three days and two nights last week.
Whilst at Oakwood the girls learnt how to work as teams and how to conquer their fears, whether these fears were of heights or of staying away from home for the very first time.
Girls enjoyed activities including low ropes, high ropes, climbing wall, abseiling, archery, team building games, leap of faith and the Flying Kiwi (being hoisted into the air and swung around!).
There was also lots of delicious food, dancing along to the Wii, the occasional hot chocolate and marshmallows, singing songs and listening to stories around the camp fire!
All the girls had an amazing time and we were all very proud of them and the determination, teamwork and encouragement that they showed. Everyone returned exhausted but full of confidence and pride in what they had achieved.
