Weather forces inside netball for U9s

With snow-covered netball courts outside, the U9A and B teams were able to move indoors and play their matches in the senior school sports hall.  The A team took to the court first.  They showed effective play, both in attack and defence, resulting in a 4-0 victory to St Swithun’s.

The B team match then followed.  During the first half the girls passed the ball well into the attacking third but could not quite find the net.  This allowed Prince’s Mead to score the first goal and nudge ahead.  In the second half Melissa Trant secured a goal to level the match at 1-1.

Player of the Match badges were awarded to Bea Watson (A team) for her strong attacking and shooting, and to Daisy Elkington and Isabella Alexander in the B team.  Well done girls for great teamwork.
