Senior school fees for the academic year 2017/18 are:
Boarder: £10,770 per term
Day girl: £6,721 per term
Registration and deposit fees
The registration fees are £200 for UK residents and £300 for overseas (this reflects additional administration costs).
For 11+ entry a deposit of £1000 is required to be paid for each girl in March once the offer of a place has been accepted (£500 of this will be offset against the first term’s fees, the remaining £500 will be returned after payment of the final term's fees and any extras.)
For 13+ entry a deposit of £3200 is required to be paid by 31 May of the year preceding entry once the offer has been accepted. (All bar £500 of the deposit will be offset against the first term’s fees and the remainder will be returned after payment of the final term’s fees and any extras.)
In addition to the deposit, parents of non-EU citizens will be required to make payment of the first year’s fees in the spring term before entry in order to confirm to UK Visas & Immigration that this payment has been received as part of the ‘Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies’.
Please contact the school accountant on 01962 835710 if you require any further information.
Fees may be paid by monthly direct debit.
Armed Forces bursaries
We offer boarding bursaries for HM Armed Forces families (which may be subject to means testing).
Sibling fee discounts
We also offer sibling discount to families with three daughters at St Swithun’s. Parents receive a 10% discount for the eldest daughter if she is a day girl, or are only required to pay the day fee if she is a boarder.
Bursaries of up to 100% of school fees are available for girls who meet the school’s entrance criteria. Please click here for further details.
