School fees

Fees for the academic year 2008/09 are:

Senior School:

  • Boarder: £7,650 per term
  • Day girl: £4,640 per term

Junior School:

  • Years 3, 4, 5 and 6: £3,000 per term
  • Reception, Years 1 and 2: £2,330 per term
  • Nursery: £1,170 per term

Composition Fees:

Fees may be paid in advance, for which a discount is given.

Monthly Payment:

Fees made be paid by monthly direct debit. The School uses an outside agency to manage this scheme.


Scholarships & Bursaries

Scholarships range in value from 10% to 50% of the fees and are awarded annually to both boarders and day girls. Scholarships for entry at 11+ and 13+ are based on the results of examinations held in January and take effect the following September. 13+ scholarships are also available to girls already in the School. Sixth Form scholarships for both internal and external candidates are based on examinations and interviews which are held at the School each November.

Music Scholarships

Music scholarships are also offered to 11+ candidates and above. The minimum standard required at 11+ is Grade 5 Merit, at 13+ is Grade 6 Merit and at 16+ is Grade 7 Merit.
