U4 pupil Isabella Maxton recently heard that she has been awarded a bursary from the Ladies Real Tennis Association. The LRTA encourages and promotes Real Tennis and represents the interest of women players in the game.
Isabella, who has been playing real tennis at her home town of Petworth for three years, was chosen as a bursary recipient due to her commitment and continued falling handicap. The bursary will consist of six coaching sessions (including court fees and the services of the Petworth club professional). Isabella will also receive a subscription to the LRTA which will enable her to play in the LRTA tournaments.
