Academic – School Policy

The School has an outstanding academic record and achieves excellent results. All pupils are expected to progress to Higher Education, normally to their first choice universities or colleges. There has been a long and successful association with Oxford and Cambridge. Excellence is achieved in an encouraging atmosphere and with a high degree of personal motivation.

The School seeks to give a broad, balanced academic education in which each girl has the opportunity to make appropriate choices which will enable her to develop her potential. Above all, the aim is to develop the girls' knowledge and skills by encouraging active participation in lessons and a pride in achievement.
