Sport

We aim to develop skills and enjoyment in physical activity of many kinds, including games, gymnastics, dance and swimming because we believe that it is vital to balance academic and physical pursuits, so that the children gain confidence, self-discipline and learn the value of a team spirit as well as benefiting their health.

Junior school sport

Sport is enjoyed during the day and after school. Netball, Hockey, Football, Pop-Lacrosse, Lacrosse, Games' Skills and Tag Rugby are played in the winter and Rounders, Short Tennis, Kwik Cricket and Athletics in the summer. Swimming, Gymnastics and Dance are taught throughout the year. Children may work for various awards, in recognition of their achievements.

Junior school sport

As well as a Gym Club, we have a Gym Squad, Netball and Rounders teams that frequently participate in competitive matches and tournaments, for fun and for experience. We have a strong competitive Swimming Team which regularly achieves success at National events. Swimming is enjoyed at a variety of levels by most of the children.
