Down on the farm at Beaulieu

24 Year 5 girls and three members of staff spent five days and four nights at Home Farm, Beaulieu.
As it is a working farm, each day began and ended with farm duties: feeding, milking goats, collecting eggs, handling baby rabbits and chicks and learning about all of the animals around the farm.

Other educational activities during the days included mini beast hunting, pond dipping, orienteering, a visit to the museum and river trip from Bucklers Hard, tree studies and learning about senses and adaptations in animals.

End of day activities also included the camp fire, team building tasks and a blindfold trail.
Despite the weather, great fun was had by all.
