After School

Many important activities take place when lessons finish at 4.15 pm. Choirs, orchestras and music ensembles practise after School and many of the sporting options are also available. There are technology and engineering clubs, drama and public speaking groups, art, cookery and self-defence sessions. Day girls as well as boarders are encouraged to regard these as a normal part of the School day.

6th Form Societies

One of the many opportunities open to members of the 6th Form is that of joining a Sixth Form Society. There are currently a number of societies in the School that reflect a particular interest or purpose of the pupils, and these change according to demand each year.  Sixth Form Societies exist to further the focus, aims and interests of the pupils.  These include societies for community service, art, Amnesty International, literature, religion, magazine publishing, consumerism, drama, film, the environment, current affairs, science, technology and Young Enterprise.
