The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

The lower school production of CS Lewis’s tale of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was staged last week for two nights to large and eager audiences. Pupils and staff in all areas of production had worked tirelessly to recreate the beloved children’s classic. As one audience member said “I was so excited about seeing one of my favourite stories as a play, but also a little worried, as childhood favourites are so precious, and one is never sure if one is going to enjoy someone else's interpretation of them - but yours was faultless. From the moment I saw that gorgeous set, with the beautiful trees and the perfect lamppost, and the superb recreation of a 1940's country house interior, I knew I was in safe hands!” Congratulations to all participants for wonderful and creative storytelling.
