Staff and girls joined in a mid-morning assembly led by school chaplin the Reverend Katrina Dykes to mark Remembrance Day.
Chamber choir sang accompanied by a solitary trumpet player playing the Last Post.
The service focussed on remembering people particular to each individual and this has also been echoed in the school's chapel where different remembrance stations have been set up to help girls leave messages to departed friends or family.
Chapel remembrance stations including a poppy field, a remembrance chair and a hanging tree for messages to departed loved ones.
Girls in L5 also gave an assembly recently to share thoughts about their summer trip to the World War I battlefields sites. Further information from the trip can be found here.
