Five U5 girls had their hair cut in a ‘chop for charity’ at hairstylist Guy Kremer’s Winchester salon last week. The girls were Josie Smailes, Ottilie Buxton, Olivia Ellis, Kitty Brannigan and Maxi Maxton. All had between seven and nine inches of their locks chopped off by either Guy himself or another stylist, followed by a re-shape and blow dry. Kitty and Maxi had taken part in a previous St Swithun’s organised Chop for Charity in spring 2014.
All the hair has been sent off to The Little Princess Trust (http://www.littleprincesses.org.uk/about-us/) which makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer treatment. An average of five donations make one wig.
The girls are now getting used to their new looks and much admiration.
