Pupils and staff vote in mock election

Pupils and staff at St Swithun's junior school have voted in their own mock election.

Pupils have been learning about different political parties, manifestos, how the government is structured and the voting process over this week and this culminated in being able to vote in the school's own polling booths today.

The pupils thought Teresa May was a positive role model for girls. They also liked the green party's actions to protect the environment.
