Netherfield Ball - no man no cry

Ella Thomas U5 writes: It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single U5 in possession of a regency dress is not in want of a boy’s company. No event proved this notion truer than the Netherfield Ball.  This was a night full of vigorous dancing ‘til dusk instructed by the Duke of Wellington Dancers, most delectable food and a plethora of Pride and Prejudice quotes sporadically slipped into conversation throughout the evening: nothing could entice the U5s more. It was a most agreeable event and the English department must allow the U5 to tell them how ardently we admire and love them.
