National Trust talk

Bryher Mason, House and Collections Manager at Castle Drogo in Devon, came into school to share her experiences of working for the National Trust.

Bryher gave the girls a wonderful insight into the world of conservation and collection management.  The girls learned about the wide variety of paid and voluntary opportunities available to them through the Trust and the talk inspired both staff and pupils to visit more properties in the area.  Bryher also talked about her current major conservation project to make Castle Drogo watertight whilst continuing to preserve the large collection and make it accessible to the general public.
