Musical Highlights

Seussical the Musical Autumn 2013

For weeks a buzz of anticipation accompanied the build-up to this year’s musical production. From the fun, bold scenery appearing in Harvey Hall to the tantalising trailer in assembly, interest and excitement increased each day.

The production opened amid a riot of colour, music and smiling faces. The cast of Seussical the Musical gave dazzling performances, depicting the fantastical world of the Dr Seuss characters (including the Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz and Jojo the Who) with
confidence and a great sense of fun. The show ran for three nights and was received very positively by the large audience each night.

Mrs Russell, a current parent said “We all thought that the show was wonderful, and particularly as it allowed so many of the girls to participate and to show off their beautiful voices. Thank you to Mrs Hall and her team for giving the girls so much fun and for giving us
a truly splendid musical”.
