St Swithun's Winchester

Congratulations to the St Swithun's Junior swimmers who competed in the IAPS swimming national finals at the K2 Leisure Centre, Crawley on Saturday 11th May. 

On Wednesday 8th May the Reception children entertained their parents with a fabulous gymnastics display.

Congratulations to the U11A team on another successful rounders match, this time against Stroud School.

Anastasia Lawrence and Evie Johnson competed in the biathlon national finals on Sunday 24^th March, held at Crystal Palace Sports Centre.

The U11A netball team has had an incredibly successful season so it was most gratifying to see them win their last junior school netball match.

U11A netball team travelled to Port Regis School, Shaftesbury, to compete in the IAPS regional netball tournament. 

As part of their work on Polar expeditions Year 4 were very fortunate to welcome Oli Milroy, a real life Polar explorer, to St Swithun's Junior School.

Congratulations to everyone in Years 3 to 6 who competed in the inter-house swimming gala on Friday, 15th February. 

Congratulations to the U11A and B netball teams on their exciting and determined match play at a tournament, hosted by Prince’s Mead School, on Saturday 9th February.

On Thursday 7th February the U9A netball team played Sherborne House. 

In early February the U11A netball team played in a tournament at Twyford. 

St Swithun's Juniors break three school records in an eagerly anticipated  swimming match against Pilgrims' School

With snow-covered netball courts outside, the U9A and B teams were able to move indoors and play their matches in the senior school sports hall.

Year 3 had their very first netball match last week. Both A and B teams played against Meoncross.

Junior school pupils have been enjoying some snow fun.
