Getting pretty muddy

School caretaker Claire Warner was joined by eight of the St Swithun’s domestic staff and her mother to take part in the Winchester Race for Life Pretty Muddy event on Saturday 7th June.

Domestic assistants Sharon Spencer, Louise Palmer, Viv Privett, Kelly Standen, Theresa France, Sue Cook, Gill Cook, Shannon Halliot (Louise Palmer’s daughter)and Janet Jeffries all braved and completed the muddy 5k fun course at the Garrison Ground.

The group are still collecting donations but estimate their total will be £1000 for Cancer Research. Undeterred by the grime the group are already planning their next one!
