Nursery and Reception classes wiggle their way to raise money for Action for Children

Nursery and reception classes at St Swithun's Junior School have raised money for charity Action for Children.

The focus of the event was the popular story The Very Hungry Caterpillar which ties in with the classes' curriculum topic of Minibeasts.

Children, staff, parents and carers dressed as caterpillars, butterflies or as their favourite food from The Very Hungry Caterpillar. New junior school headmistress Mrs Lyons-Smith and Mrs Heinrich, nursery teacher, led the conga line in a giant wiggle round the beautiful new junior school building.

Thank you to everyone who took part and who donated money.
