Our Old Girls' Association has an enthusiastic membership of over 3000 former pupils throughout the world. They are a generous group who make themselves available to current pupils as career mentors, supporters of work experience and as friendly contacts if a girl finds herself in an unfamiliar part of the world.
Successive generations of current pupils benefit from the advice and interest of alumnae established in their chosen professional fields who actively support our careers lecture programme and taster days. Our bi-monthly OGA newsletter (ChainMail) is emailed worldwide and 1000 Old Girls read it each month, enabling some to respond promptly with offers of help to current pupils asking for specific advice.
In addition, our business club provides a supportive Old Girls' network for those progressing in the commercial world and our regular reunions enable friendships forged at St Swithun's to become a lifelong support system long after a girl has left us.
