Art and communication

Art gallery trips expanded horizons for M5 and sixth form art students last week.  At the Modern Art Museum Oxford M5 took part in workshops which linked the Josh Kline Freedom exhibition and Kiki Kogelnik’s Fly Me to the Moon.  The girls were given the text of a speech by a famous leader or politician and then had to create puppets which were used to present the speeches.

Sixth form students experienced the brave and thought-provoking work of major contemporary Chinese artist and cultural phenomenon Ai Weiwei at the Royal Academy, London.
